Tawas Village is dedicated to providing the elderly with a lifestyle that values their identity, independence and dignity. Our facility has been carefully designed to provide residential care and the best in retirement living. We provide assisted living, long-term care, and respite care, and specialty care for Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Parkinson’s.
Assisted Living
Our assisted living homes focus on private living spaces paired with 24-hour personal assistance by devoted caregivers. Our highly-trained staff will handle medication administration, weekly housekeeping, laundry, and personal care.
We offer two apartment floor plans, including studio and one-bedroom units, for an easy transition. Residents enjoy three home-cooked meals daily, various activities, outdoor recreation, and public transportation options. An emergency call system is installed and available for each resident. In addition, enhanced assisted living services are offered for residents who need additional assistance.
Memory Care
Tawas Village specializes in caring for our residents affected by neurocognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Parkinson’s. We focus on providing a safe and secure environment paired with private, customized living spaces and personal assistance as needed.
Each apartment is designed to accommodate the unique needs of our residents while still maintaining the independence they desire. Special areas are designated for this type of care with programs designed to help individuals stay engaged and active while maintaining a sense of individuality.
Respite Care
Our respite care program provides temporary care for your loved one while offering a period of relief for a caregiver and peace of mind for family members. This program is ideal when caregivers take a vacation, are hospitalized, or need rest.
During a respite stay, you or your loved one will continue to receive the same amenities and services provided to full-time residents. Some exceptions may apply.
